- Pizzeria Güerrin– Located in the Buenos Aires Theater District, this is the spot for pizza. It’s busy, it’s crowded, and the service is awful. However, the pizza makes up for it all.
- El Preferido de Palermo– Sister restaurant to Don Julio in Palermo Soho. I dined here several times because it was so good. Be sure to get the fries!
- El Sanjuanino– Delicious and inexpensive empanadas in Recoleta. Honestly, all empanadas have been ruined after dining here.
Shop For Souvenirs In San Isidro
San Isidro is the perfect place to find unique souvenirs and gifts for friends and family back home. This bustling district is full of shops selling handmade items, artisanal jewelry, and other one-of-a-kind goods.

One of the best things to do in San Telmo is visit Mercado San Telmo. Inside you can find antiques and plenty of food options to choose from. Spend an afternoon strolling through Plaza Dorrego Square. It’s a wonderful spot to sit at a table and grab an Argentinian beer on a hot day. You may even catch some live music or a tango show.
