Flamingo Gardens In Davie

A great spot where to see flamingos in Florida is the Flamingo Gardens located in Davie.

This 60-acre tropical botanical garden was established in 1927 and is South Florida’s oldest attraction and botanical garden. 

Flamingo Gardens is a wildlife sanctuary housing birds and other animals that have been injured or unable to live safely in the wild. 

Book a wildlife encounter to get up close with the flamingos. It’s encouraged to book animal encounters 7-days in advance. They occur at 1 pm and 1:30 pm. You can book your personal wildlife encounter here.

Everglades Wonder Gardens

You can “flamingle” with these beautiful birds between 4:30 pm-5:45 pm daily. But, be sure to book in advance prior to your visit. Only a maximum of 6 guests per day are allowed so the birdies don’t get overwhelmed. Orientation is required before your private encounter with the birds. 

If you choose not to flamingle, you can still catch Rhett and Scar roaming the garden. 

The Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory is open daily from 9 am to 5:30 pm, even on holidays. The last admission is at 4:30 pm.

Sarasota Jungle Gardens

Hialeah Park Casino

The first flock was imported in 1934 from Cuba by Joseph Widener. Now they are the trademark for Hialeah Park and South Florida.
